Dr. Cruz Mannherz

Dr. Cruz Mannherz, DPT attended Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Annville, PA where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and continued on at LVC to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduating, Cruz began his physical therapy career in Westminster, MD working in outpatient orthopedics.

Despite beginning his career in Westminster, Dr. Mannherz kept his roots in the Frederick area where he previously attended high school and where he continues to call home. Dr. Mannherz's passion for physical therapy began with his own athletic injuries in high school where he played football and wrestled. Through the field of physical therapy, he was able to go on and play four seasons of collegiate level football. Dr. Mannherz's desire to understand his own injuries and return to competition is what continues to motivate him to provide the same service for others.

Dr. Mannherz aspires to use his clinical expertise, background in athletics, and continuing education to not only return individuals to the activities they love, but also work to develop an evidence-based program that seeks to identify and prevent the risk of injury in our community.

In his spare time, Dr. Mannherz enjoys watching and talking sports (both real and fantasy), plays in a recreational co-ed football league, and would like to think he is a pretty good home brewer.

Dr. Mannherz is a member of the APTA and has mentored several aspiring local PTA students. He is excited to continue his career in Frederick and provide Superior service to his neighbors.
